Repetition is the secret to change. What continues bad behavior? Repetition. What changes bad behavior? Repetition of an opposing behavior.
Why can’t we stay in the present, instead of going back to the past to justify our bad habits for the purpose of holding onto them? Bad habits die slow, when you won’t let them die.
The world is waking up to the reality that what humans call conscience is their proclivity, propensity, ability, capacity to cover, hide what they think, fear others will find, deem unacceptable, inappropriate behavior. That’s all there really is to conscience. I’m feeling a little sad that I saw that.
