The associated press announced to the world during the race riots that their writers would capitalize the first letter of Black and lower case the first letter of whites. How small. That’s not just prejudicial, it’s discriminatory. It’s intentional infliction of discrimination designed intentionally to hurt all white people.
So they make all black people feel superior because they lowercased the word white and capitalized the word Black.

When reporting is unbiased, that means how they report the news, the plan, the design, the construct, unbiased.
Well that’s about as biased as one can get when reporting the news – even if it’s news that writers of associated press create, to intentionally degrade an entire color of people by lowercasing the first letter of the written word white and capitalizing the first letter of the written word Black.
First off I don’t like referencing people by color – there are too many shades – but governments enlist scientists and statisticians do it to study groups for the purpose of allocating goods, services and funds, and to study migration patterns etc. Also individuals do it to reference groups and also unnamed individuals. That black guy, that white girl, for instance, so as long as we’re stuck with it for now, this is how I deal with it in the written word, which is about as unbiased as I can get at this point.
This is how I capitalize and lowercase Colors Of People:
1- Of course when any color word denoting a group of people is used at the beginning of a sentence, capitalize it.
2- Within a sentence, where the color word is used alone, such as Blacks or Whites, Reds, Yellows, Browns, and in the not too distant future, Grays and possibly Pinks, the first letter of the color word is capitalized.
3- Within a sentence when the color word is connected to another word as an adjective, the color word is lowercased. For instance white people or red people.
See how simple that is? And no one gets marginalized. There’s no discrimination, no hypocrisy and no bias.
